By accessing and using Innerval ("the Service"), available at innerval.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Innerval is a free, browser-based personal values discovery application. The Service includes:

• Values Quiz — rate real-life scenarios across five life areas (Work, Relationships, Personal Growth, Social Impact, and Leisure) at three depth levels (Essentials, Deep Dive, or Full Spectrum) to generate a ranked values profile
• Results & Export — view your values ranked in five tiers, download a PDF report, or export your data as a JSON file
• Explore Values — browse all values with descriptions, examples, and categories, and build a personal aspirations list
• Compare Profiles — upload two exported JSON files to see an alignment score, radar chart, side-by-side rankings, and detailed breakdown
• Growth Plan — generate a structured prompt based on your results and aspirations that you can paste into any AI assistant for personalised guidance

All processing occurs entirely within your browser — no personal data is sent to or stored on any server we operate.

Use of the Service

You may use Innerval for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service for commercial use
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service in a manner that degrades performance for others
• Misrepresent the quiz results as professional psychological or clinical assessments
• Reproduce or redistribute the Service's content without permission

No Professional Advice

The results provided by Innerval — including the values profile, tier rankings, comparison reports, and growth plan prompts — are for self-reflection and personal growth purposes only. They do not constitute professional psychological, medical, or therapeutic advice.

The Growth Plan feature generates a text prompt for you to use with external AI assistants. The prompt and any AI-generated responses are not professional guidance and should not be treated as such.

If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.

Your Data and Exported Files

Your quiz answers, results, and aspirations are stored locally in your browser and are your responsibility. Exported files (PDF reports and JSON data) are generated on your device and saved locally. If you choose to share exported files with others — for example, to use the Compare feature — you do so at your own discretion and risk.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding associated with Innerval are the property of Innerval and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.

Availability

We strive to keep Innerval available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any inconvenience caused by downtime.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innerval and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
